• The Jalapenos: New BASS for 2017...

    Message from The Jalapenos:

Thank you all for making Martyn's send-off yesterday such a memorable night! You're all ace!

The Jalapenos will be celebrating their 20th (!) anniversary in 2017, and we're pleased to report that there are a ton of dates in the diary and the rocking will continue unabated.

Thank you all for your continued support - it means the world to us, and we truly could not do what we do without you. We'd also like to send special thanks to Martyn for 19 years of great gigs, great songs and great memories. He's a legend.

A whole new chapter starts in the New Year with our new boy Johnny - we hope you'll all make him welcome and continue to support the band as you have done over the years. It'll be a little bit different, of course, but just as madcap and rockin' as ever!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!

    from Charlie, Dave and John.

  • FUGITIVE - Single 'Light It Up' OUT NOW!

NEW SINGLE RELEASE: Light it Up from the forthcoming album 'Reflections'.

With 'Light It Up', we feel we’ve made a strong choice for lead track from the new album. It offers a good feel for what you're going to get from the album ‘Reflections’whilst being a clear stand out track that works well on its own. In the making of ‘Light It Up’, we’ve worked with the production talents of Nino Errico at Amp Studios (Wrexham), to capture the FUGITIVE sound and style in a nutshell - melody and power combined to give you a song that ROCKS and leaves you with a MASSIVE smile on your face! The chorus hooks you in and gets you singing along, then finds you singing it again hours afterwards too. It’s definitely memorable. For us, that’s a sign we’ve got it right!

We are excited to be working with Skyfire Interactive to bring you the track FREE OF CHARGE for a limited time only - Find the link on the home page to get your copy.... It's also available to buy from all major download stores worldwide.

  • FUGITIVE new single released - NABD

Fugitive new single BLACK PLANET is NOW AVAILABLE TO BUY from download stores worldwide. Please consider spending £0.79p and support the NABD Charity (No 1040907). Links available to buy from this web site, or search your online stores.

Can we get this in the charts - and raise awareness of NABD to a wider audience? - Worth a try with your help!! Please BUY NOW!

    Why are Fugitive supporting NABD?

The work NABD do is fantastic - check out NABD online at www.nabd.org.uk.

All the band are bikers and a lot of our mates are bikers too, so we found ourselves invited to play at a number of Bike Rallies, bringing us into the Biker Music Scene. Our interest in, and love of motorcycles found its way into our music.

Being a Biker means you are a member of an enormous community – like an extended family.

NABD play an important role in that community, bringing people together at events.

We‘ve worked with NABD for 15 years, supporting their events with live performances as often as we can. NABD have welcomed us at their events – supporting us in return by giving us the opportunity to include our original music in the live set, exposing new people to our brand of rock! Which for any band is key to survival as an original act – You need an audience – or there’s very little point. You can very quickly lose your identity as a band.

Support like that has meant we are still here doing what we love. We wanted to find a way to say thank you. 2015 is Fugitive’s 25th Anniversary year and we wanted to mark the occasion by doing something special that celebrates the achievement, whilst hopefully making a positive difference within the community that has given us a home as a band. We can’t go about thanking the entire family personally for their support – it’s so massive – so…

We decided to dedicate our latest recording to NABD – releasing a single – The title track from the album – Black Planet – and following the single up with the full album release.

    What we hope to acheive:

Aim is to raise awareness of the work of the charity, and raise much needed funds for it.

The release is being marketed within the UK, but also internationally through Skyfire Interactive who are working with us and the charity on this project, giving us, the band, real credibility and reach, out into the music world – whilst giving NABD – The Charity – media coverage of their work to a wider audience.

There may be disabled people out there who want to use a motorcycle, but feel they would not be able to do so, and aren’t aware of the support on offer from NABD, to get them on the road. If all we do is link the two together, that will be a huge success.

If we can raise enough cash from sales to offer grants for adaption projects, that would be an even bigger success.

Thanks for you interest.... Mikee, Ranko, Paul T and Wils....
